An evening with Annabel Leventon

Local resident Annabel Leventon’s singing career spans pop, rock and musicals. As an actress her West End credits include Hair!, Spokesong, Jeffrey Bernard Is Unwell, Rocket To The Moon, The Philanthropist and The Dresser, the Olivier-award-winning Honk!, The Ugly Duckling for the National Theatre and Sir Andrew Aguecheek for the RSC, as well as cabaret at the Ritz and in Paris. Her films include Wimbledon, Defence Of The Realm, M. Butterfly and The Rocky Horror Show. She created, with Gaye Brown and Diane Langton, the celebrated three-woman group Rock Bottom on which the award-winning TV series Rock Follies was based.
More recently Annabel appeared in the first UK production of Jerry Herman’s musical Dear World at the Charing Cross Theatre. She has just enjoyed a sell-out season at the Crazy Coqs cabaret room where she wowed audiences that included Graham Norton, Derek Jacobi and Fiona Fullerton.
Annabel will be in conversation with former Radio 2 producer Anthony Wills and will also perform some of her favourite songs.
