Wanting to spend sometime with God this Lent? Miriam Rinsler is hosting a quiet day at church next Saturday, March 11th; the day will run from 10am to 3.30pm – coffee available from 9.30am. Please bring your own lunch. The day will offer short addresses, followed by longer times of silence for your own prayer and we will finish with a liturgy of the word. It will be a day of quiet time, thanks and prayer. If you are interested in coming or plan to attend, could you email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) or sign up at the back of church this Sunday? Thanks.
As well, this Sunday, we will have the sign-up sheet for our second annual Week of Guided Prayer. It takes place during the week between Sunday 26th March and Sunday 2nd April. It is a time to focus on reading and prayer in the Scriptures, as you meet with you prayer companion five times throughout the week. We will be talking about it more as the weeks go on, but please speak to any of the clergy if you have questions about the practical steps and shape of the week. Contact email@example.com
