“The Strings Club offers fun-fuelled holiday and weekend courses for budding strings players, from those complete beginners to those up to grade 5. Each course encourages our members to not only learn to play an instrument but also to enjoy performing with others, to take part in our Kodaly-led singing activities and also to have fun with our musical games.
As a leader of large strings projects across London, founder of The Strings Club, violinist and strings tutor, Amy Cunningham, recognised the power of group performing and its positive effect on people’s musical skills, creativity, team work, confidence and overall attitude. Since its early years in 2011, The Strings Club has grown not only in its number of budding members but in popularity too with sessions taking place across London! Our ethos is simple – Happy Learners Perform Better. We believe that musical learning should be fun and the happier our members are, the more they will learn. Motivation is key to learning and this is why we are committed to providing the highest quality of teaching on each of our bespoke courses.
