Red, Hot & Blue – Saturday 18th May, 6pm

Founded in 1977, Redhot & Blue has won national recognition for its innovate arrangements of jazz standards, which blend together American songbook classics with the fresh and upbeat flair of the collegiate a cappella tradition. The group’s sixteen members have brought their classic, award winning sound to venues all over the world, from the breezy beaches of Hawaii to the bustling streets of Tokyo. In recent years, we have been invited to perform for Harry Belafonte, Morgan Freeman, former Governor Mitt Romney, President Barack Obama, and more.”

The icelandic choir in londonIcelandic Choir – Sunday May 19th at 4pm

The Icelandic Choir in London with guest soloists. An afternoon concert of traditional Icelandic folk songs and hymns at St. Mary’s Primrose hill.


Entry £5 for adults. Free for children under 12.
Refreshments sold at the interval.

Primrose Hill Jazz presents – Ben Castle – Thursday 23rd May, 8pm

Ben Castle – Composer:  saxophone and clarinet.  Alongside his own music, has played with Stan Tracey, Humphrey Lyttelton,Sting, Dizee Rascal, Quincey Jones and John Williams . His albums are a mixture of all the things he’s not allowed to play elsewhere.

Mark Edwards – Piano
Records with Beth Rowley and Carleen Anderson and gigs with Aztec, Chris Rea, Camera and Incognito. Famous for his Swing Gospel Jazz Orchestra.

Sam Lasserson – Bass
Performed with Stan Sulzmann, Martin Speake, Nikki Iles, Bobby Wellins and Emilia Martensson

Chris Higginbottom – Drums
After 8 years in America ,playing with the likes of Mark Murphy, Ingrid Jensen and Aaron Parks, has returned to UK playing with Ronnie Scott’s All Stars, Gilad Alzman and Renato D’Alello
